OT Logistics Group is a leading transport & logistics company in CEE. The Company operates one of the biggest river fleets in Europe east of the River Rhine, three freight international forwarding companies and operates two Baltic ports - a bulk cargo port in Swinoujscie (PHS) and a general cargo port in Gdynia (BTDG). The Company was transformed from Polish inland fleet operator into an international comprehensive logistics services Group.

Since 2013, the Company is listed on the WSE. Krokus supervised six add-on acquisitions and the transformation of the Company from a privately-owned to an integrated corporate entity. The Company’s revenues rose six fold and its geographical presence widened from Poland to include eight countries. Krokus fully exited the Company in 2014-2015.

Main objectives of the funding

  • Acquisition of its main competitor in Germany – DBR to become the regional inland waterway transportation market leader east of the River Rhine.

Achievements of the company

  • The Group became the biggest inland transportation fleet operator in the Mid-Eastern Germany (50% market share) and in Poland (80% market share).
  • OT Logistics is a pioneer in developing one-stop solutions in logistics in CEE.
  • The Company created an integral transportation corridor between Western and Eastern Europe, as well as north-south between Baltic ports and central southern Europe.
  • The Group became leading logistics operator in the CEE, its geographical presence expanded from the domestic market to cover eight countries.
