MCI.TechVentures Fund (Fund, MCI.TV) sold its shares in iZettle as part of one of the largest European acquisitions of technology companies in the last decade. The shares were purchased by US-based PayPal.

MCI.EuroVentures Fund (MCI.EV, Fund) closed sales of entire position in lifebrain, company that operates on healthcare and medical diagnostic market in Italy. Overall transaction totalled to EUR 36.6M (PLN 155M).

Following an approval by regulatory authorities, ARX Equity Partners (ARX) has completed the exit of its investment in Czech producer of specialized electrical motors VUES Brno s.r.o. (VUES) via a sale to Moog Inc. (NYSE:MOG.A) (NYSE:MOG.B) for a purchase price of € 53 million. The ARX investment into VUES generated an overall 11.8x cash-on-cash return multiple and an IRR of over 30%.

Black Pearls VC has invested PLN 2.94 million (EUR 700k) in Insly, a company that created an innovative software supporting insurance agents and brokers in effective management of sales and customer service activities.

The fund, whose investors are MCI Capital S.A. and Krajowy Fundusz Kapitałowy  (KFK – National Capital Fund), has sold to a strategic investor its portfolio company operating in the medical diagnostics market. The company operates the platform.

Polish Enterprise Fund VI (PEF VI), a private equity fund managed by Enterprise Investors (EI), has partially exited Novaturas, the leading tour operator in the Baltic region, through an IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) and on Nasdaq Vilnius.

Mid Europa Partners, the leading private equity investor in Central and South Eastern Europe, announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority stake in MediGroup. The seller, Blue Sea Capital, will retain a 45% stake in the Company. The transaction is subject to customary competition clearance and is expected to close in Q2 2018.

Innova Capital, a leading private equity fund in Central and Eastern Europe has executed another transaction pertaining to this portfolio company. As its majority shareholder, the fund has made a strategic decision regarding Profim’s further growth. This leading Polish manufacturer of office chairs is to join the Norwegian Flokk Group, which ownsa host of reputable office furnishing brands. As a result of this transaction, Innova will become Flokk’s largest minority shareholder.

Abris Capital Partners has agreed to acquire a majority equity stake in Velvet CARE Sp. z o. o., one of Poland’s largest manufacturers of tissue-based personal hygiene products.
