Mid Europa Partners, the largest private equity firm focused on Central Europe and Turkey, announced that it has signed a binding agreement to acquire Centrul Medical Unirea S.R.L. (“Regina Maria"). The transaction is subject to anti-trust clearance and is expected to close in Q4 2015.

HOJO.pl, a marketplace of professional cleaning services which has so far received capital injections worth PLN 1.5 million from the Internet Ventures FIZ investment fund, has obtained additional funds as part of the second tranche of financing and agreed on the terms of the third tranche. The company is set to receive PLN 6 million in the two tranches. The transactions resulted in an increase in the interest held in the company by Internet Ventures FIZ, a fund managed by Private Equity Managers, whose participants include the National Capital Fund. The Fund still holds a minority interest in the Company.

Kulczyk Holding (KH), a subsidiary of Kulczyk Investments (KI) and Innova Capital have signed an investment agreement and a conditional preliminary share transfer agreement, under which both companies are to dispose of their entire 63 per cent block of shares held indirectly in PEKAES S.A., the only logistic-intermodal firm listed on the WSE. The transaction results from the implementation of another stage of the new strategy pursued by Kulczyk Investments.

Through a special purpose joint venture company, the China-CEE Fund and GEO Renewables acquired the Zopowy wind farm from Gamesa Energia.This new investment includes 15 wind turbines for a total capacity of 30 MW and is located in the south-west of Poland. The investment was financed with equity and non-recourse project finance provided by Alior Bank.
