Enterprise Hungary launches a programme supported by the International Visegrad Fund together with the leading venture capitalists of the V4 countries to find the best sustainable innovations in the region. The V4 Scale-up & Investor Programme provides assistance for the internationally expanding companies in preparing for the investment and it stimulates the development of joint success stories in the Visegrad region.
V4 Scale-up & Investor Programme, organized by Enterprise Hungary, was launchedand implemented in partnership with the venture capital investors’ association, financed by the International Visegrad Fund. The cooperation of the Hungarian Venture and Private Capital Association (HVCA) and its partners in the region, the Czech CVCA, the Slovakian SLOVCA and the Polish PSIK aims at utilization of the possibilities involved in the synergy of the regional venture capital investment community and the best V4 innovative companies.
In the framework of the Programme, the partners jointly select companies developing the best sustainable solution as well as already being present on the Visegrad market or intending to expand there.The enterprises will be provided with an investors’ training in February 2022 in a series of workshops during which the investment experts will not only give information about the local market and investors’ environment for the participants, but will also initiate investment negotiations with the best projects.

The Visegrad Fund
The International Visegrad Fund is an international donor organisation established by the governments of the Visegrad Group (V4) countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia). Its aim is to support closer understanding and cooperation among people in the V4 region, as well as between the V4 region and other countries and regions, particularly in the non-EU neighbourhood of the Eastern Partnership countries and in the Western Balkans.
The fund does foster the development of civil society by financing joint grant projects and by awarding university scholarships and artist residencies. The fund’s annual budget of €8 million consists of equal contributions by the V4 governments.
