Resource Partners is a private equity group with a focus on investments in the prospective small and medium-sized enterprises in Central and Eastern Europe. The group puts transaction focus on growth and buyout financing of EBITDA positive companies, with strong market position and proven strategy and business model, primarily in Consumer sectors. 

Małgorzata co-founded Resource Partners after leaving The Carlyle Group in 2008. She was a Project Director at International Expansion team at PZU in 2009. Prior to The Carlyle Group, from 2001 to 2008, Małgorzata was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, both in Warsaw and Chicago offices. 

Małgorzata earned her M.Sc. in finance and banking from the Warsaw School of Economics (Poland) and her MBA from Kellogg School of Management (USA). She also graduated from international management program at CEMS (Community of European Management Schools). 

She serves at PSIK board since 2017. She is also a mentor at PSIK’s Social Business Accelerator since 2011. In 2021 she was awarded two PSIK Awards: Person of the Year and Social Business Accelerator Mentor.

Bartek participated in more than 50 VC deals and managed to facilitate seven exits (so far) of his portfolio (e.g. Zencard, Absolvent, LubimyCzytac and Okazjum).

Currently, Bartek focuses on using venture capital to digitally transform energy and other heavy industries.

Before founding SpeedUp Bartek was an entrepreneur in the marketing industry, he co-founded one of the biggest Polish advertising agencies and sold it to NYSE listed Omnicom.

Founded in 2012, the CVI fund is the largest private debt investor in Central Europe. CVI has invested over EUR 2.7 billion in 11 countries.

Before joining CVI, Paweł worked at Krokus PE, a Polish private equity firm.

Paweł holds a Master's degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Lodz, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business from Athlone Institute of Technology in Ireland. He also holds the CFA.

Balnord VC's investments focus on sectors like supply chain, fintech and cybersecurity, healthcare, and space tech with ESG or dual-use impact.

An entrepreneur and investor with over a decade of experience in tech, he is the founder of two companies and has had two exits—sold to a Norwegian strategic investor and a PE-backed MBO before moving to VC. Previously, he was a Solo General Partner at Black Pearls VC (dragon exit – 18.6x to a NASDAQ listed buyer).

Marcin serves on the board of the following #BlackPearlsVC portfolio companies: Autenti, Telemedi.co, Tidaro, Insly, ENSO. He previously served on the boards of Skyrise.tech (exited to Etteplan - Finland) and Solwit (exited to Alten Group - France).

In 2023 he was a member of the PSIK Audit Commitee. Alumnus of Kauffman Fellows Class #22 (graduated in 2019), a Silicon Valley-based leadership development program for venture capitalists, spanning over 700 leading VCs worldwide.

He joined MidEuropa in 2018 and is responsible for deal sourcing, execution, monitoring of investments, and exits.

For more than 10 years, Paweł has been involved in Polish private equity investments. Before starting his career at MidEuropa, he was a member of the Enterprise Investors team. Paweł Malicki's investments include Optegra, Diagnostyka, and JS Hamilton.

Paweł received a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics.

She is a member of the Association of Certified Accountants in Great Britain (ACCA) and Polish Statutory Auditor.

Prior to joining Innova, she gained professional experience as an analyst/ intern in Feri Alternative Assets GmbH (Germany), a fund of funds and asset management company (2002), KPMG Audit (2003-2006), Financial Controller in Innova Capital (2006-2010) and CFO / Board Member in MCI Management SA (2010-2014), a Warsaw Stock Exchange listed VC and PE house.

Building on his prior corporate experiences, Dariusz is also actively involved in EI portfolio value creation, working directly with investee companies on major strategy and restructuring projects primarily in consumer goods and services and retail industries.

Dariusz is a member of the Mid-Market Council of Invest Europe. He also actively supports Level 20 initiative.

Directly prior to joining Enterprise Investors, Dariusz managed large turnaround projects in the aviation industry, as CCO and Chief Strategy Officer at LOT Polish Airlines and Group Strategy Manager at Qantas Airways in Sydney, Australia. 

Dariusz was also a Senior Team Member and Project Manager at The Boston Consulting Group, based in Warsaw, Poland and Atlanta, USA. He led the Warsaw’s Private Equity Practice and Travel and Tourism Practice and was an active member of the firm’s global Consumer Practice. His functional expertise included restructuring, M&A and post-merger integration, commercial strategies. Dariusz managed project teams primarily in Poland, USA and CEE, but also supporting customers in other parts of Europe.

 His earlier roles also include management of the Trade-Marketing and Sales Development functions within the Heineken Group.

Dariusz holds a Master degree in Strategic Management from the University of Warsaw.

She brings extensive experience in the venture capital sector, having been a member of the first women-founded and women-led venture fund team in Europe, where she focused on investor relations.

She also led the European Women in VC community, advocating for diversity and inclusion. Anna is a public speaker and co-authored reports measuring the funding levels of women-managed venture funds in Europe.

With over 10 years of experience in the public sector, she previously worked as the Chief of Staff for Aleksander Kwaśniewski, the President of Poland from 1995 to 2005.

Anna grew up in Norway and spent many years of her adult life in Kenya, working with various non-governmental organizations in the region.

PSIK represents the interests of the Polish private equity / venture capital community and works on promotion and development of the industry.

Barbara is a board member of Valores Foundation, Poland’s first venture philanthropy fund. She also served as a Member of the Governing Board at European Institute of Innovation and Technology and was an expert on the Polish private equity and venture capital for the European Commission. Her pre-PSIK experience embraces a corporate, private equity and government jobs.

She manages comprehensive market research and data for reports and publications published by or co-branded by PSIK. She is also responsible for co-running policy & public affairs activities of PSIK, manages PR & communications efforts and coordinates networking and PSIK community life initiatives.
