Novastone Capital Advisors is a company focused on Search Funds, whose goal is to find and acquire majority stakes in small and medium-sized enterprises with stable operations, often grappling with succession issues. NCA is also the organizer and leader of the ETA (Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition) program, under which several investments have already been realized (out of which two in Poland), and currently, more than 30 search funds are operating in Europe and North America.

The search fund industry is a specialized niche within the broader private equity industry, sharing similarities but also possessing unique characteristics that differentiate it from traditional private equity approaches (the ticket size is generally smaller compared to typical private equity deals, but it has same investment horizon and similar approach to create value in order to divest the investment with significant returns to the investors).

As an investor, we are industry-agnostic and it rather depends on the future CEO's prior experience and where they can leverage their existing networks and knowledge. We target established SME (EV €5-30 M and EBITDA min. €1 M) with a stable revenue stream.
